Treadstone Consulting Selected as Marine Communications Provider for Geokinetics

HOUSTON, TEXAS – May 2nd, 2011 – Treadstone Consulting announced that they have been chosen to be the provider of marine communications for a leading seismic data provider, Geokinetics. Treadstone Consulting will be providing Geokinetics stabilized Marine VSAT Antenna’s for four vessels and a private network for the vessels. Treadstone will also support a land-based system to provide Disaster Recovery for the data processing center. The project will be for a seamless Ocean Bottom Cable, Transition Zone and land seismic data acquisition survey.

Brandon Dunbar, Project Manager, reported, “We are extremely pleased to work with Geokinetics on this project. Our Marine VSAT antennas and global network design will provide them with connectivity to efficiently and effectively satisfy all their needs and goals. We were able to provide turnkey VSAT services to all the vessels within two weeks from concept to installation.
